Joey Jordison
Joey Jordison (born Nathan Jonas Jordison on April 26, 1975 in Des Moines, Iowa) is the drummer for Slipknot, a nine-man crossover band from his home town. He writes some of the lyrics for the band's songs and plays guitar as well. Jordison is a former member of Avanga and Modifidious, both of which he left for Slipknot. He was also in Anal Blast, a side project of Modifidious. In addition to drumming for Slipknot, he plays guitar for the Murderdolls with Wednesday 13, a side project.
