Jimmy Yuill
Jimmy Yuill is a Scottish actor. Originally hailing from Golspie in the far north of Scotland, he went on to become a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and then later of the Renaissance Theatre Company. He has appeared in many of Kenneth Branagh's Shakespeare films but he is possibly best known for the character Doug Kersey in the British television show Wycliffe. The bulk of his acting work has been in the theatre. His choice of film roles is limited by his physical appearance: short, bearded and far too well-fed for conventional leading man parts.
