Jimmy Tarbuck
Jimmy Tarbuck OBE (born 6 February 1940, Liverpool, Merseyside,England, UK) is a gap-toothed British comedian, emcee and compere in demand from the 1960s. The father of actress and television presenter Liza Tarbuck, he attended the same school as "Beatle" John Lennon and newscaster Peter Sissons.

His first television show was It's Tarbuck! on ITV in 1964. He has also hosted numerous quiz shows including Winner Takes All as well as Live from The Palladium, a popular Sunday night variety show of the 1980s produced by LWT (London Weekend Television) for ITV. Nicknamed Tarby, at the height of his celebrity he was a prominent supporter of Margaret Thatcher and her policies.
