Jimmy Fallon


 

James Thomas Fallon (born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York) is an Irish-American comedian, actor and musician best known for his work on Saturday Night Live.

From 2000 until his departure from the show in 2004, Fallon co-anchored Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" segment with Tina Fey. He was also an impressionist, portraying Pat O'Brien, Osama bin Laden, Jeff Zucker, Dennis Miller, Carson Daly, Chris Rock, Ryan Seacrest, Richard Simmons, Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, Howard Stern, Mick Jagger, John Mayer, Hilary Swank, Robin Williams, French Stewart, Van Morrison, Dave Matthews and Barry Gibb. Some famous characters he had include Joey Mack, Nick Burns, the male half of "Sully and Denise" (the female half being played by Rachel Dratch), one of the Bloder Brothers (the other half being Chris Parnell), and Jarrett from "Jarrett's Room."

Although an audience favorite, Fallon had a tendency to lose character and start laughing in the middle of sketches, especially around fellow cast members and friends Horatio Sanz and Will Ferrell.
