Jimbaran


 
 

Jimbaran is a tiny fishing village in Bali, Indonesia. It was one of the sites of the 2005 Bali bombings.

There are many upmarket developments such as the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, and Bali Inter-Continental hotels along the beach immediately south of Ngurah Rai International Airport. There are also many more reasonably priced homestays or losmen.

Jimbaran has a reputation island-wide for its fresh seafood. There are many tiny warungs along the beach serving the morning's catch grilled over smokey fires of coconut husks.

The Bukit surf breaks are among the most popular in Bali.
