Jim Vance
Jim Vance is also the name of a writer of comic books.

Jim Vance has been with WRC-TV in Washington, D.C. since 1969. In 1972 he became the station's main anchor, one of the first African-Americans to serve in this position at any station, and currently anchors the 6 PM and 11 PM newscasts.

Vance has earned 15 Emmys and has been inducted into the Journalists Hall of Fame. He has also been named Washingtonian of the Year by the Washingtonian magazine.
