Jim Borgman
James Mark Borgman (born February 24, 1952) is an American cartoonist. Borgman has written and illustrated the comic strip Zits since July 1997, which has syndicated in 875 newspapers around the world and is translated into seven languages, including German, Chinese, Spanish, and Finnish. Borgman also continues to make various editorial cartoons for the Cincinnati Enquirer, as he has done for more than 25 years. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Borgman was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he began his career in journalism as a student at Elder High School. After graduating from Kenyon College in 1976, Borgman was hired by The Cincinnati Enquirer. His work has been seen by a national audience since he was syndicated in 1980. In 1991, Borgman, then just 39 years old, won the Pulitzer Prize.
