JetBlue Airways
JetBlue Airways {{NASDAQ|JBLU}} is an American low-cost airline. It attracted international exposure on September 21, 2005 when JetBlue Airways Flight 292 performed a dramatic emergency landing in Los Angeles, all of which was shown on live TV around the world. CEO David Neeleman founded the company in February of 2000. The company is headquartered in the Forest Hills neighborhood of New York City, New York, and runs a majority of its flights to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport. JetBlue also maintains a corporate office in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. On August 29, 2001 JetBlue began a smaller focus city operation at Long Beach Municipal Airport near Los Angeles, California, and another at Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts in 2004. Jetblue's origins date to 1993.

The airline flies to destinations in the United States and the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico, and established service to the Dominican Republic on June 10, 2004. It began service to the Bahamas in December 2004.

In 2004, JetBlue began running flights from LaGuardia Airport in New York City and will begin servicing Puerto Rico and Florida from Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey in the fall of 2005, thereby allowing the airline to service all three major New York area airports.
