Jet ski
Jet Ski is the brand name of Kawasaki Heavy Industries personal water craft. The name, however, is often used as a generic term for personal watercraft (PWC) typically those propelled by water jets which rapidly expel water behind them in a jet, rather driven by a screw-shaped propeller, though the name can also refer to versions of PWCs known as "stand-ups."

Because of their relatively low cost and freedom they provide the driver, they are widely used recreationally on water bodies across the world. Most modern Jet Skis include a deadman's switch to turn off the vessel or apply reverse thrust braking if the rider falls off.
