Jesse Kalima
Jesse Kalima (1920-?), a Hawaiian singer, made a name for himself in 1935 with his blistering performance of "Stars and Stripes Forever", which endeared him to music fans and patriots everywhere. He formed a band with his brother and cousin (The Kalima Brothers) and enjoyed a successful recording and touring career.
