Jerome Bettis

Jerome Abram Bettis (born February 16, 1972 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American football running back for the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers. Bettis is one of the most productive running backs of his era and is currently in fifth place on the National Football League's all-time rushing list.

College career

At the University of Notre Dame, Bettis rushed 337 times for 1912 yards (5.7 yards per average), and caught 32 receptions for 429 yards (13.4 yards per reception). As a senior, in his last game, the Cotton Bowl, he rushed 20 times for 75 yards.
