Jefferson, Iowa

Jefferson is a city located in Greene County, Iowa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 4,626. It is the county seat of Greene County{{GR|6}}. It is the home of the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower, 168 feet tall and visible for miles.
