Jeannie
Jeannie was a 1973 Saturday morning cartoon produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions for CBS-TV. Based upon the 1960s sitcom I Dream of Jeannie, this series features the titular genie character with a new master, high school student Corry Anders. Comedian Joe Besser voices Babu; a cowardly, ignorant, immature (basically a walking-stereotype) genie-in-training under Jeannie's charge. Mark Hamill portrays Corry and Bob Hastings is heard as Corry's best friend, Henry.

Unlike the famous Barbara Eden character, the animated Jeannie was a ponytailed redhead voiced by Julie McWhirter. Jeannie and Babu made one guest appearance on The New Scooby-Doo Movies, and Babu alone was a teammate of Scooby-Doo on Laff-a-Lympics.
