Jean-Baptiste Lamarck
Jean-Baptiste Pierre Antoine de Monet, Chevalier de Lamarck (August 1,1744 – December 28,1829) was a major 19th century French naturalist, who was one of the first to use the term biology in its modern sense.¹ He was born in Bazentin-le-Petit, Picardy, France and died in Paris, France.
