Jay Gould
Jason Gould (May 27, 1836 – December 2, 1892) was an American financier.
Death
Gould died of pneumonia and mental strain on December 2, 1892, at the age of 56, and was interred in the Woodlawn Cemetery in The Bronx, New York. His fortune was estimated at $72,000,000 (USD), all of which he left to his own family. At the time of his death, Gould was a benefactor in the reconstruction of the Reformed Church of Roxbury, now the Jay Gould Memorial Reformed Church (see ).
