Jay Adelson
Jay Steven Adelson (born September 7,1970) is best known as the founder and chief technology officer of Equinix, Inc., which he founded in 1998. He is currently the CEO of Digg and chairman of Revision3 Studios. Prior to Equinix, he was one of the founders of the PAIX in 1996, before its purchase by Switch and Data in 2003. In 1993, he was one of the founders of Netcom (USA), where he built and ran network operations.

On July 15, 2003, he testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Homeland Security Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Science and Research & Development, as part of an industry panel on "The Private Sector's Role in Keeping America's Cyberspace Secure."
