Janice (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Janice Penshaw was a fictional character on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She was a school friend of Dawn's and was mentioned repeatedly, though only shown on screen once.

Janice's only appearance was on the Halloween episode of season 6. She and Dawn conspired to sneak out, with Janice saying she was staying at Dawn's, and Dawn saying she was staying with Janice. Instead, the two met up with some older boys who turned out to be vampires and embarked on a trip full of teenage mischief. Her date intended to turn her into a vampire, but was dusted by Giles before he could complete the process. Dawn also survived, and was still allowed to socialize with Janice. However, she was not seen on screen again.
