Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx (born Eric Marlon Bishop on December 13, 1967 in Terrell, Texas) is an American actor and musician. Foxx's early life was peppered with difficulty. At the age of seven months Foxx's teenaged mother was unable to take care of him, and so he was adopted by his grandmother (who had also adopted his mother). He has stated that his youth was steeped in religion and that he earned family income early in life by playing piano for local churches.
