Jamie Ashdown
Jamie Ashdown (born November 30, 1980 in Reading) is an English football (soccer) player, who currently plays for Portsmouth F.C. His position is goalkeeper.

Ashdown began his career at Reading F.C. where he established a reputation as an exciting prospect, and had gained a first team place following loan spells at Gravesend & Northfleet F.C., A.F.C. Bournemouth and Rushden & Diamonds F.C. This led to FA Premier League club Portsmouth signing the player in proir to the 2004/05 season to provide competition for Shaka Hislop, with a view to replacing the veteran upon his retirement.
