James Stirling (architect)


 

James Frazer Stirling (1926 - 1992) was one of Britain's most important architects starting from the 1960s. Stirling was born in Glasgow and obtained his architecture degree at Liverpool University, but set up office in London. He was awarded the Pritzker Prize in 1981.
