James Chadwick
Sir James Chadwick (October 20, 1891 – July 24, 1974) was an English physicist and Nobel laureate.
Liverpool
Chadwick became professor of Physics at Liverpool University in 1935 and during the Second World War he joined the Manhattan Project in the United States, developing the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Chadwick was knighted in 1945.
