James (Buddy) McGirt
James "Buddy" McGirt will always be one of the most recognized men in boxing history. McGirt had a long successful boxing career ranging from junior welterweight to middleweight. McGirt burst on the seen with 4 years of undefeated boxing before losing to Frankie Warren. McGirt continued his career which lasted 15 years(from 1982 to 1997). His most notable fight however was his loss to Pernell Whitaker in 1993.

After his great career as a boxing he became a trainer, and is one of the best in the boxing scene today. He trains fighters that include Arturo Gatti, Antonio Tarver, Timo Hoffmann, Mads Larsen and James McGirt, Jr.
