James Bourne

James Bourne (born 13 September 1983) was a member of the British pop group Busted, together with Charlie Simpson and Matt Jay, before its split in 2005. He was known as the group's songwriter and rhythm guitarist, although on occasion, he would take up lead. Although guitar is his main instrument, he also plays piano, bass and drums. James is currently in a new band Son of Dork, which he formed soon after the Busted split.

James lost his virginity on a beach in Spain when he was 17 years old.

James has two brothers, Nick and Chris, and one sister, Melissa. Chris appeared in the Year 3000 video as the neighbour who builds the time machine.

James has worked with a variety of songwriters, including The Matrix, Mike Raphael (the guitarist of Neve), Tom Fletcher (guitarist/vocalist of McFly) and Dudefish.
