Jake Riviera
Jake Riviera (born Andrew Jakeman) founded Stiff Records in 1976, a label best known for its punk and new wave acts, including Elvis Costello, Madness, Ian Dury, and the Damned.

Formerly an amateur boxer in east London, Riviera managed pub-rock acts Chilli Willi And The Red Hot Peppers and Dr Feelgood, accompanying the latter on their first US tour.

He left the label in 1977 to form Radar Records, while Stiff would become part of the Island label in 1984.
