Parody
The 2004 Wes Anderson film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is both a parody and a tribute to Cousteau, widely satirizing various elements about him and his documentaries. The film, which is dedicated to Cousteau, stars Bill Murray as a caricature of Cousteau.
