Jacob Froese (November 28, 1917 ? June 14, 2003) was a politician in the Canadian province of Manitoba. He was the province's only Social Credit MLA between 1959 and 1973, and was the party's leader for most if not all of the period from 1959 to 1977.

Ya'akov Frank, Jakob Frank; 1726?1791) was an 18th century Jewish religious leader who claimed to be the reincarnation of the self-proclaimed messiah Sabbatai Zevi and also of King David. Frank and his followers were excommunicated due to his extremely unconventional doctrines that included acceptance of the New Testament, Enlightenment and some controversial concepts such as "purification through transgression."

Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey (or JFJO or The Fred) is a US jazz group started in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1994 by founding members Brian Haas and Reed Mathis. The band's lineup has changed multiple times over the years, and in 2009 Haas and Mathis amicably parted ways. JFJO's current lineup consists of Brian Haas on keyboards, Chris Combs on guitar and lap steel, Matt Hayes on upright bass and Josh Raymer on drums.
