Jackie Burkhart

Jacqueline Beulah Burkhart is a character from the television sitcom series That '70s Show. She is portrayed by Mila Kunis. Jackie is exactly what she appears to be: self-centred, fashion-obsessed and tactless. During the first few seasons, she is only a member of the gang due to her status as Kelso's girlfriend and her aptitude with sudden "burns" (comic caustic insults).

She appoints herself Donna's best friend, and gives advice which often sounds typically thoughtless and superficial, but turns out to be unnervingly correct (such as during "Battle of the Sexists" in season 1, when she tells Donna that Eric will never be her boyfriend if she doesn't let him win at things).

Though she begins as rich, spoilt and irritating, seasons 4 and 5 see her character becoming more fleshed-out. Having chosen love over money, and losing her allowance for Kelso, they break up after circumstances ruin the romance (he constantly accuses her of cheating with the "cheese guy," her boss (season 4) until she actually ends up kissing him).

When her father is sent to prison, she moves into the Formans' basement where Hyde is already living, and they have a serious relationship (Jackie had a period of infatuation with Hyde after he taught her how to insult Laurie without losing face). This seems to make her less superficial, and more popular with the gang.
