Jacki-O is from Miami, Florida. She had small success in the local radio and clubs of Miami and made appearances on mixtapes but it wasn't until the release of her 2003 single "Nookie" that gained her true success. In October of 2004 she released her first album Poe Little Rich Girl which put out the single "Sugar Walls" which talked about the same subject as her previous hit "Nookie." Recently she received a BET Award nomination for Best Female Rapper.
