J.L. Wilkinson
James Leslie Wilkinson (1874 - 1964) was an American sports executive who founded the All Nations baseball club, which later became the Kansas City Monarchs. All Nations was a multi-racial team that included whites, blacks, Asians, Native Americans and – at one time – a woman. Wilkinson also signed Jackie Robinson to his first professional contract.
