Istok (Serbian: ?????; Albanian: Burim), is the name of a town, which is the seat of its municipality, situated in north-western part of the province of Serbia called Kosovo (officially Kosovo and Metohia). The name of the city means "east" or "outflow" (spring) in Serbian language. Although there is no official data, the total population of the municipality is estimated at 65,000.
