Irwindale is a city located in Los Angeles County, California. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,446.

With relatively few residents, Irwindale consists mostly of rock quarries, which is the major revenue source for the city. The Irwindale Speedway is also located in the city, as is the Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area. The city became the new permanent site for the annual Rennaissance Faire in 2005, after it moved from its original home in the San Bernardino area.
