Irving, Texas
Irving is a city located in the U.S. state of Texas within Dallas County. According to the 2000 U.S. Census, the city had a total population of 191,615. Irving is within the Dallas–Plano–Irving metropolitan division of the Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area, a title designated by the U.S. Census, and is colloquially referred to as the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Education
Most of Irving is served by Irving Independent School District. Other portions are served by Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District and Dallas Independent School District.
