IProvo

iProvo is the name of the Fiber to the Home owned and operated by the city of Provo, UT. It is the largest municipally-owned Fiber to the Home network in the United States.

Provo's backbone network already connects municipal buildings, schools, power stations, and traffic signals. Construction began in July 2004 and it is expected that the network will be completely built out to the city's homes and businesses within two years.
