Intracranial hemorrhage
An intracranial hemorrhage is a form of injury to the brain in the form of bleeding (hemorrhage) within the skull. This can be a result of head injury, an aneurysm (burst artery) or other causes. The definitive method for accurate diagnosis of an intracranial hemorrhage is to perform a head CT scan (computed axial tomography).
