Into the West (miniseries)

Into the West is a 2005 miniseries produced by Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks which began as a six-week event on June 10, 2005 on Turner Network Television (TNT). Each of the six episodes is two hours in length (including commercials).

The show has a huge cast with about 250 speaking parts. A number of well-known performers like Jessica Capshaw, Tyler Christopher, Rachael Leigh Cook, Keri Russell, Skeet Ulrich, and Matthew Settle from Band of Brothers also star, though many only appear for one or two episodes. The series spans a long period of time, however, from approximately 1825 to 1890.
