  • Intervention (counseling) - an orchestrated attempt by family and friends to get a family member to "get help" for addiction or other similar problem.

  • a particular form of capturing in some board games
  • It is the inverse of Custodian Capture and it occurs when a player has placed his piece in between two of the opponent's piece (such that they are on opposite sides of the players piece). In this form of capture both of the opponents pieces are taken.
