Interrogation
Interrogation is the method of interviewing a source used by police and military personnel to obtain information that the source would not otherwise willingly disclose. Its puropose is not to force a confession, rather to develop sufficient rapport, playing on the source's character, to prompt the source to willingly disclose his information. This information, when present and pertinent, aids in the interdiction or prosecution of criminal or military operations.
