International Thespian Society

The International Thespian Society, affiliated with the Educational Theater Association, works to promote the quality of high school theater around the world. The International Thespian Officers are student leaders elected each year at the International Thespian Festival, held each summer, usually at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. There are 6 ITO officers: one from each of the four thespian regions of the USA, a president, and a publications editor-webmaster-secretary.

The ITS inducts high school students active in theater each fall. Festivals are held annually both at the state and national level.
