International Falls, Minnesota
International Falls is a city located in Koochiching County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 6,703. It is the county seat of Koochiching County6. It is officially the coldest city in the continental United States with an average mean temperature of 36.4 °F (2 °C), earning it the nickname "the Nation's Icebox." It also inspired the fictional city of Frostbite Falls in The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.
