The Interlochen Center for the Arts is situated in Interlochen, Michigan on a 1,200 acre (5 km²) campus, and comprises (in order of founding):

Interlochen Arts Academy

The Interlochen Arts Academy is a residential high school, established in 1962, which claims to be America's 'first independent high school dedicated to the arts'. As of 2005, it has 300 faculty and staff, and over 400 students.
