Intense Football League
The Intense Football League was a small, six team indoor football league set up by a man named Chad Dittman, with all of its teams located in Texas. After their only season, the Amarillo Dusters went to the af2 for 2005, and the other teams merged with the National Indoor Football League.

In 2006 the Intense Football League once again opens their doors and three of the original teams (Odessa, San Angelo and Corpus Christi) will return to IFL action along with teams from Belton, Tx.; Witchita Falls, Tx.; and Lake Charles, La.
