Institute of Antoniano

Istituto Antoniano was created in Bologna in 1953 by the Franciscans. Their goal was to help people living in poverty, which was quite largly spread in Italy at those times. But soon they spread their activity to cultural one.

Since 1961 they are organisators of Zecchino d'Oro festival of song for children. They have three choirs, ballet school, drama school etc. There is also a special after-school for children with Down syndrome.
