Ingrid Kristiansen


 

Ingrid Kristiansen (born March 21, 1956), from Norway, was the best female long distance runner in the second half of the 1980s. She was world champion over 10,000 metres in 1987, and set five track world records in the course of her career.

She also held the world record for marathon for over 10 years (2:21:06). She won several prestigious marathon races, including New York, Chicago, Boston and London.
