ING Cup

The ING Cup is the current name of the domestic List A cricket (One-day/limited overs cricket) competition in Australia. Due to the immense success of the Australian ODI team the ING Cup is widely regarded as the world's best one day domestic competition.

Since its commencement in 1969-70 the competition has had a number of sponsors, each one exercising their naming rights. These have been:

• Coca-Cola Australasian Knock-out Competition - from 1971/92 to 1972/73

• FAI Cup - from 1988/89 to 1991/92
• Mercantile Mutual Cup - from 1992/93 to 2000/01

List A cricket: List A cricket is a classification of the limited-overs (one-day) form of the sport of cricket. Much as domestic first-class cricket is the level below international Test match cricket, so List A cricket is the domestic level of one-day cricket below one-day internationals....
