Industrial coating
An industrial coating is better defined by its protective than aesthetic properties, although it can provide both. The most common type of protection is corrosion resistance, although intumescent coatings provide fire resistance. The most common polymer used in industrial coatings is epoxy. Another highly common polymer used in industrial coating is a fluoropolymer.
