Incest
Incest is sexual activity or marriage between very close family members. It is a taboo, as well as a criminal offense, in virtually all societies. In many societies premarital sex is allowed or encouraged; in most such societies, the same restrictions apply to sexual unions as to marriage.
Fiction
Incest is a somewhat popular topic in English erotic fiction; there are entire collections and websites devoted solely to this genre, with an entire genre of pornographic pulp fiction known as "incest novels". This is probably because, as with so many other fetishes, it is a topic of controversy. With the advent of the Internet, there is even more of this type of fiction available. One of the more popular websites for incest fiction is White Shadow's Nasty Stories, which features a rather large collection of incest-themed stories, most submitted anonymously by professional and amateur writers.

Besides this, incest is sometimes mentioned or described in usual, non-erotic fiction. Connotations can be negative, positive (very rarely), or neutral. For example, in One Hundred Years of Solitude there are several cases of sex between more or less close relatives; the last of which (between a nephew and his aunt) results in the birth of a disabled child and precedes the destruction of the whole town by a hurricane. Other works of literature show consequences not so grave, such as the V.C. Andrews novel Flowers in the Attic and it's subsequent sequels, in which brother and sister uphold a loving relationship.
