In The Life

In The Life is a television series that first broadcasted on PBS in June 1992 and is still running. In the pilot episode of the series, which debuted ever since, Kate Clinton became host. In 1993, Charles Busch, Lea DeLaria & Garrett Glaser were selected as the hosts. From 1994 to 2002, Katherine Linton hosted the series. In 2001, RuPaul (also known as RuPaul Charles) guest-hosted the series, so did Lesley Gore in 2004. Today, Karen Williams hosts the show, Alan Tulin is the correspondent, and includes Rick McKay, Mike Nichols, John Schlesinger, and Marga Gómez as themselves. The series is regularly commentated by Tony Award-winning actor Harvey Fierstein. Top guest stars for the series debuted on season 7, episode 4 in May 2000. They included Paris Barclay, Benjamin Bratt, Ruth C. Elliot, Rupert Everett & Madonna. It is not expected to disappear from the airwaves until the host of the series, Harvey Fierstein, retires in either 2020 or 2021.
