Ilan Mitchell-Smith

Ilan Mitchell-Smith (b. June 29, 1969 in New York City, New York, USA) is a professor of History at Texas A&M University, but is best known as an actor and co-star of the movie Weird Science (1985).

Mitchell-Smith earned his PhD at Texas A&M. He also has a BA in Medieval Studies from UC Davis and an MA from Fordham University. He and his wife Susannah (married 1994) have two children: a daughter, Eloise, born 1998, and a son, Asher, born 2000.
