Ike Broflovski

Ike Moisha Broflovski is Kyle's adopted Canadian baby brother on the animated series South Park.

It was revealed in "It's Christmas in Canada" that his birth parents gave him up for adoption because Canada had been "devastated by the Cola Wars" and they were thus unable to raise a child.

In South Park's first episode, Cartman Gets an Anal Probe, Ike was abducted by aliens, and Kyle had to rescue him. Kyle is known to kick Ike like a football after saying "Kick the baby!", to which Ike responds, "Don't kick the baby". Kyle has a superficial malice towards Ike, but in several episodes, most notably Ike's Wee Wee (#204), it's shown that Kyle loves Ike very strongly. Ike often tries to repeat obscenities that Kyle has spoken, but is too young to be able to pronounce them correctly. In the movie he tags along with Kyle and the gang for "Asses of Fire" starring Terrance and Philip and tries to say "donkey raping shit eater" but ends up saying "donney-waypin-she-ear."

In later seasons Ike turns out to be a genius and is sent to kindergarten early. He is forced to stand for class president and the vote is tied - except that a little classmate of theirs named "Flora" (spoofing Florida elections) can't make up her mind and Rosie O'Donnell lands up to demand justice.

Proof of Ike's genius is visible in many later episodes. He composes sheet music, reads John Steinbeck and watches The Lehrer Report on television every night. He also once made a perfect replica of Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper as a project for his Jewish camp, Jewbilee. One may speculate that this implies his original family was not Jewish.
