Huy (Walloon: Hu; French: Huy, Dutch: Hoei) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège. On January 1, 2005, Huy had a total population of 20,000. The total area is 47.79 km? which gives a population density of 418.47 inhabitants per km?. Huy lies along the river Meuse, at the mouth of the small river Hoyoux. The population is excepted to break over the 20,000 barrier.
