Huy (Walloon: Hu; French: Huy, Dutch: Hoei) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Liège. On January 1, 2005, Huy had a total population of 20,000. The total area is 47.79 km² which gives a population density of 418.47 inhabitants per km². Huy lies along the river Meuse, at the mouth of the small river Hoyoux. The population is excepted to break over the 20,000 barrier.
